Here at Beechwood Veterinary Practice in Kidsgrove we are offering a free dry eye tear test with a nurse for dogs over the age of seven or dogs of a susceptible breed.
A dry eye tear test is a simple and easy way to test tear production to ensure that your pets tear ducts are functioning correctly.
It is important that older dogs or dogs of a susceptible breed get this done when they show symptoms such as scratching, watery eyes and redness of the eye. If a dry eye is left untreated then this may lead to further issues.
Susceptible breeds include West Highland Terriers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Pugs, Shih-Tzus, Bull Dogs and Yorkshire Terriers.
The offer will run throughout October until the end of November.
