Before joining Beechwood, Yasmyn worked in a veterinary practice for four years as a veterinary nursing assistant/inpatient nurse but wanted to expand her skills further with animals and decided to become a dog groomer. To do this, she attended Reaseheath College and gained a dog grooming qualification and has previously obtained a diploma in animal management and animal care. Yasmyn has a miniature English Bull Terrier called Diego, who is treated like a king and gets his own way almost all of the time. She is massive lover of all animals big or small, so bring your doggie to Migroomers and rest reassured they will be looked after and cared for whilst in her company!
Clare is one of Beechwood’s longest-serving members of staff. With many responsibilities, Clare is able to professionally manage the admin side of the practice whilst still being a favourite of most clients. With a wealth of equine experience, Clare has entered many of her own horses into the highly competitive field of horse showing. Clare’s free time is shared between attending to Polly, the family’s remaining horse, baking and attending numerous physical exercise classes. Clare is a very keen fundraiser and is always coming up with new ideas in order to raise money for charity.
With a background in hospitality, Stellina joined Beechwood as a receptionist in 2009. She thrived in this high pressure environment and has worked hard to secure herself an NVQ in customer service. Stellina’s dedication to the practice has earned her many extra responsibilities, such as the role of Healthy Pet Club advisor. She has taken these additional tasks in her stride and given how varied her job role is, her knowledge of the practice is second to none. Stellina has built upon her relationships with clients and is trusted by most and requested by many. Outside of work hours, Stellina enjoys reading and swimming although her true passion is travel, having visited Australia, Thailand, and the Caribbean.
